Dresscode
The dress code will be cocktail/semi-formal. You are as confused as Julian when he heard these terms for the first time? Let us give you some guidance:
Women: Everything from a cocktail-dress, evening gown, or elegant pantsuit is perfect. Please avoid jeans or ball gowns.
Men: Please wear a suit or jacket with a chino. Jeans and shorts are definitely too casual but there is also no need to wear a tie or bow tie.
What to expect
The day will begin with a boat picking you up at Bellagio and bringing you to Villa Aura. If you prefer, you also have the option of driving to the villa with a car. Parking spaces will be available.
The entire event will take place at Villa Aura, starting with the wedding ceremony itself in the garden of the villa. The ceremony will be followed by an apperetivo in the garden. Later on we will have dinner on the terrace and most importantly, we will have a dance floor and music inside the villa after the diner.
You can see, we are planning to spend most of the time outside. Usually this time of the year the temperature will be between 15 and 23 degrees at Lake Como. Please plan your outfit accordingly.
